FY26 Year-End Financial Summary

  • FY26 concluded on June 30, 2026.
  • Katherine Goetz is Salt House's new Treasurer!
  • Overall financial position is healthy, with strong giving and spending below budget.

Operating Income
  • Total operating income: $578,095
  • Finished 99% of budget (approximately $6,900 below budget).
  • General giving remained very strong and was the highest in several years.
  • Gratitude expressed for the generosity of the Salt House community.

Operating Expenses
  • Total operating expenses: $536,452
  • Finished 94% of budget (approximately $34,300 under budget).
  • Office expenses exceeded budget.
  • Savings in other ministry and operating categories more than offset those additional costs.

Year-End Results
  • Net operating surplus: $41,643
  • Surplus exceeded budget expectations by approximately $27,500.
  • Strong financial stewardship resulted from both generous giving and careful spending.

Restricted Funds & Balance Sheet
  • Restricted funds remain healthy, despite increased spending during the fourth quarter.
  • General Fund and all designated funds remain in good financial condition.
  • Assets, liabilities, and overall cash position remain stable and healthy at year-end.

Looking Ahead
  • FY27 began on July 1, 2026.
  • Members with recurring online gifts are encouraged to review and adjust their giving if desired.
  • Giving changes must be made by donors through Church Center; Salt House cannot modify recurring gifts on members' behalf.
