A high school teacher once told me that he loved to see Jessie come into his classroom. When she was there, she brought a spark with her questions that made a fun and more interesting class period for all the students. She was vivacious, loved to laugh, she was creative and so artsy. She was also kind and sweet spirited.

Jessie became paranoid schizophrenic in her late teens and was hospitalized at 20. She suffered terribly with horrific fear and chose to find safety and peace of mind by taking her life. This was in 1998, she was 21 years old.
