The Holy Spirit calls us to move beyond the familiar and enter the lives of people who are different from us with humility, curiosity, and “loving perception.” In Acts 17 Paul discovers in Athens that God is already at work beyond the boundaries he (and we) imagine—so how might the Spirit be expanding our world, and what could we learn if we entered someone else’s world with openness rather than judgment?
