Lent 2026 at Salt House
Lent is the 40-ish day season leading up to Easter that begins on Ash Wednesday. These days echo the time Jesus spent fasting and facing temptation in the desert. This is a season in which we are invited to simplify our lives and focus our hearts on God's grace. In our progressive and affirming tradition, we view these disciplines not merely as penitence but as a journey of spiritual growth and a step toward liberation and inclusion for all people.

Lent at Salt House February 18 - April 5
Lent is a season for spiritual renewal—forty-ish days that invite us to slow down, tell the truth about our lives and the world, and lean into God’s deep love that meets us right where we are. You’re invited to engage in worship, community, justice, and shared spiritual practices throughout the season. Come for one thing or many—there’s room for you.
