Series Trailer - TROUGH THE WILDERNESS

There is something about the wilderness. During the season of Lent – the 6 weeks leading up to Easter – Jesus-followers throughout the centuries have chosen to go through the wilderness. Choosing wilderness for spiritual formation. A time for learning, praying, listening, fasting. Giving things up to make room in our bodies and lives to be formed by the Spirit.

So, these 40 days of Lent at Salt House, we follow Jesus through his 40 days in the wilderness, letting the three temptations he faced confront the deep narratives and questions buried in us. We choose the wilderness, because: the wilderness can form us into who we are and what we are to do.
