Special Meeting on April 27, 2025

Join us for a Special Congregation Meeting following worship on Sunday, April 25, 2025

The Salt House Council has had the parsonage roof replacement on its radar for a few years, and with congregational approval, have taken a “cross that bridge when we get there” approach. With the discovery of a recent leak in the roof, we are now at that bridge. According to our constitution, all non-budgeted expenditures above $5,000 must have congregational approval by way of majority vote. Four professional roof replacement bids have been acquired, and the council is recommending we use our savings to tend to this work.

  1. THE MEETING: You're invited to attend a special meeting after worship on Sunday, April 27 after worship (starting around 11:15am) both in-person and online.

  2. THE VOTE: We are voting to approve funds in the amount of $15,000 drawn from our savings account to replace the roof of the parsonage. This vote requires a simple majority to move forward.

  3. MEMBERSHIP: Finally, whenever we tend to any official business as a community, we want to you to know that you're invited to become a member at Salt House (if you aren't already). As per our constitution, only members (age 13+) are able to vote in our upcoming meeting.

Thank you for showing up to do this work of being community together. If you have any further questions, I am available on Sundays or via email.

Budget Forum - April 27, 2025

Join on Sunday, April 27 following worship (and our special congregational meeting) for a budget conversation. The Salt House staff, council, finance team, and personnel team have been working diligently to craft our FY26 budget and we want to share it with you on and get your feedback! This is OUR budget at Salt House.

This event is designed to give you the important information you need as we move toward our June 1 annual meeting where we will be voting to approve this budget. Join either in-person or virtually via Microsoft Teams.
