Phillip was stillborn at full term when his umbilical cord got twisted. We were devastated, yet we truly felt the peace that passes understanding with the prayers and support from friends. We made a conscious decision to not only remember him with sadness. As we dedicate this garden, we can truly say after 30 years there have been lots of moments of joy because of Phillip. We facilitated a support group for parents who had infant loss for many years. Seeking opportunities for meaning in our work, Jim became a teacher and Anne eventually went to work in hospice and palliative care. We appreciate this opportunity to remember him.
